The National Microfinance is now licensed by the Central Bank according to the MFI system no5 of the year 2015.

Based on the announcement by the National Microfinance Bank on the 26 of June 2018 the license was granted after all system’s provisions and dictations were achieved. The system aims to uplift the work procedures of MFIs in Jordan.  Mr. Sameh Al Mahariq the general manager of the National Microfinance Bank said that the license is a step towards achieving financial inclusion that is a pillar in achieving sustainable development on all fronts that are intertwined and form the development process. He also showed that success at the National Microfinance Bank is not limited to financial growth, persistence and a network of branches but is enriched by the ability to be a part of the client’s journey to improve their businesses. The process that turns them into business men and women capable of creating jobs in their communities. The ambition of Micro Finance from the beginning was to create jobs. Al Mahariq added that the bank looks to employ new technology in the coming years in communication and information. To offer clients solutions that defy time and place to save time, energy and cost of financial services.
