National Microfinance received a delegation from Al-Amal Bank in Yemen and a delegation from Al-Ibda'a Bank in Syria to learn about National Microfinance’s experience and achievements in the microfinance sector as part of the AGFUND Microfinance Unit program. This program aims to build the capacity of microfinance institutions in the region, especially the microfinance banks affiliated with AGFUND.
During the visit, the focus was on National Microfinance's achievements in implementing digital transformation and its impact on enhancing financial inclusion and providing financial support to entrepreneurs and small business owners in Jordan. The meeting included the exchange of experiences and knowledge on best practices in the microfinance field, in addition to reviewing the systems implemented to facilitate lending operations and improve their efficiency.
The visit of the delegations from Al-Amal Bank and Al-Ibda'a Bank/Syria strengthens regional cooperation and knowledge exchange, contributing to the comprehensive development of the microfinance sector and supporting economic and social development in the beneficiary countries.
