NMB held a ceremony to honoring a number of its clients who benefited from the Link program, which aims to help small home-based business clients’ to become sustainable productive entrepreneurs that can create jobs for local communities.

The program which was supported by the AGFUND’s Technical Support Unit, contributed to the graduation of 1,530 clients in different governorates. whom business provided around 7,000 job opportunities through the methodology of evaluation and support, which was developed on the basis of assisting projects with assets less than 1,000 JOD through gradual financing and financial education to expand and prosper, achieve a tangible expansion in its business and financial results in addition to providing employment opportunities in their communities, and ending up with the process of registration with the competent authorities.

The Chairman of NMB, Mr. Saeb Al Hasan clarified though his speech that” Link” Program is one of the most important links of a broad strategy that reflects the interest in the financial inclusion as it aims at building projects that can grow, expand and contribute directly in standing up against unemployment through employment opportunities and indirectly through integrating with the existing projects in the governorates and strengthen operating sectors.

The program led to the establishment of specialized unit in NMB to work on institutionalize  the achievements, increasing the number of the beneficiaries, and  integrating empowering them technologically to operate and market their projects within the program and its conditions.
